SELLERS PETER: (1925-1980) English comedy actor. An unusual signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Sellers in a head and shoulders pose, in costume as Gestapo agent Herr Schroeder from the British comedy film Soft Beds, Hard Battles (1974). Signed by Sellers in black ink with a lengthy inscription, evidently inspired by his character (just one of multiple roles that he played in the film) and incorporating the 'signature' of Fritz Schroeder alongside a swastika symbol, concluding '....and the man of a thousand idiots, Peter Sellers'.
