Both images, from the Teatro alla Scala of Milan, showing Gigli in a full length pose and in a three-quarter length pose, in costume in the roles of Principe Grimaldo in Ponchielli´s opera La Gioconda (1876) and as Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini´s opera Tosca (1900) respectively. Signed and inscribed in Italian, in bold dark ink, to clear areas of the images. Small overall age wear, with both photographs bearing remnants of former affixing to the verso, and with small clipped right bottom corner to the larger one. About G
